Coffee Afternoon

Thank you to the parents that came to the SEND coffee afternoon this week. We had a selection of interventions on display including ELSA, Zones of Regulation, Talk Boost, Plus 1 and Talk About. Our lovely ELSA trained member of staff, Mrs Booth, came along too.

Cat and Mouse

We love to use the parachute to play Cat and Mouse. The mouse person moves around underneath the parachute and the cat person tries to catch the mouse while the rest of us shake the parachute to disguise where the mouse is. It’s so much fun!

Kandinsky in maths

In maths we looked at art work by Wassily Kandinsky. We collected circles and triangles from around the classroom and placed them onto the large paper. We created our own shape masterpiece!

Welcome to Class 1 Autumn 2023

We love exploring in the water tray.
Outdoors is so much fun! How tall can we build the tower?
We have been learning jhow to write new graphemes.
We were finding identical objects in maths.
We loved playing Pokemon pairs. We remembered where the identical picture was. Maths is such fun!
Finding identical socks was good fun too!
In PSHE we talked about things that are special to us.
We have been to special places.
We enjoy different foods.
Some of us win trophies and belts for winning in sports events.
In maths we have been learning to sort objects in different ways.

Tennis workshop 30.6.2023

Year One and Year Two enjoyed their tennis workshops this morning. The tennis coaches were very impressed with the children’s teamwork, listening and skills of controlling the ball.
