TIBBERTON SCHOOL SUMMER FAIR
To all Tibberton Mums and Dads
Make sure that you have got next Friday, 29th June, between 5.00 and 7.00 blocked off in your diary for the Tibberton Summer Fair at School.
The Fair will have all the usual fun and games including Pony Rides, World Cup Goal Challenge, a Bouncy Castle and much, much more.
Tibberton’s legendary local Strawberries and Cream follow on from the Barbecue fare, all washed down with a Pop, a Pimms or a Pint.
The children have all brought home books of raffle tickets to sell and please don’t forget to return the money for any raffle tickets sold or any unsold tickets to the school by the day of the fair. For those that have already sold their books please do not hesitate to ask for more from the school or a PTA member. We have a fantastic range of prizes including £50 in cash, Family Tickets to the Newport Show and Prosecco in the Park, a private Tennis Lesson at Lilleshall, Massage, Cut and Blow dry, Afternoon Tea, Ironbridge Museum passes and many more, so please get those tickets sold.
As always, we need and value your help and donations in putting together a great Summer Fair. Friday is the traditional mufti day when children may come to school in casual clothes in exchange for bringing a small jar of sweets or chocolate for the children’s tombola. Your delicious home baked goods are an essential part of all our Fairs, so lots of cakes and biscuits for the cake stall will be gratefully received on the day. Also, this year we are going to bring back the adult tombola and any contributions of suitable prizes from champagne to ketchup will be very welcome.
One thing not to miss is Tibberton’s Got Talent which will be on Stage during the Fair – do encourage your children to enter. It’s great fun and performing and speaking in public is a skill well worth developing from an early age.
We really appreciate all your donations and the time, energy and effort that so many of you put into the Summer Fair. The funds we raise really help improve the facilities that we give to all our children. Do please come along and get the summer under way and have some fun raising money for the children’s benefit.
See you there.
