Active investigating in Science!

This week Class 2 have been trying to investigate whether our age affects how well we can do physical activities. They planned an investigation with an activity for Year 1, 3 and 5 pupils to complete. Two pupils from each year group had to run and shoot beanbags into a target for a minute. All of the children in Class 2 had investigating roles, including timers, photographers, recorders, counters and equipment organisers.

We obtained some interesting results which the children analysed together. They also suggested that we could test them again to check how reliable our first set of results was. To find out more they also suggested that we should test other year groups as well.
